Through volunteering on your short-term trip, you will have the opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of the children of Belize.
 
Volunteer Responsibilities and Costs (for medical and educational trip)
 
Travel
  • Volunteers will be responsible for arranging and financing their own round-trip flights to Belize.
  • Volunteers will pay a fee towards ground transportation.
Housing
  • Volunteers will be staying at a hotel which includes housing meals.
  • Volunteers have the option to share a room with another person to save costs.
What to Bring
  • Updated Passport and Travel Documents
  • Comfortable and lightweight clothing
  • Sench Bag (pack light)
  • Gym shoes
  • Reusable waterbottles
  • Insect repellant
  • Sunscreen
  • Sandals
  • Swimsuit
  • Personal medications
  • Own equipment (ex: blood pressure kit, thermometer)
  • Cultural respect
 
Personal expenses
  • Volunteers are responsible for paying for their expenses not related to the volunteering program including leisure activities, souveniers, etc..
  • Volunteers are responsible for paying for their own accomodation costs.
* Volunteers will be given a form to explain any medication allergies they have.
